Agency fees

Permanent Contracts

Once a family and Nanny have agreed contracts a fee of 6 weeks of the Nanny's agreed salary is due to Hire a Nanny. An invoice will be sent for payment at this time and can be paid by Worldpay (on-line), bank transfer or personal bankers cheque. A grace period of 4 weeks is given if a replacement Nanny is needed; this is at no extra charge.

Temporary Nannies

Fees are £100.00 per week. Depending on the situation Hire a Nanny will calculate these fees on an individual basis.

Maternity Nurses

Fees are £100.00 per week (with a minimum charge of £350.00) invoices for the total number of weeks booked.

Night Time Nannies

Hire a Nanny charge £15.00 per night and this is payable at the end of every month. An invoice will be sent monthly. Night time Nannies are self-employed and liable for their own tax and NI.

Registration fees are only applicable to families living outside the UK. This is a one-time payment of £50.00 payable by Worldpay, bank transfer or bankers cheque in Pounds Sterling.

NANNY PAY SCALES

Salaries quoted are net of tax and National Insurance (except for Maternity Nurses, who are self-employed). It is the employer's responsibility to pay all relevant tax and NI.

Long term Nannies and Mother's helps expect to have 2 days free per week, most ask for week-ends free. Nannies and Mother's helps expect to have a bedroom separate from the children.
Live-in Nannies are expected to baby-sit 2 nights a week (Monday - Thursday), normally any extra babysitting or week-end work should be paid extra.
